Spit and Passion overall was a very interesting book with a lot of alternative images that caught my attention as I was reading this book. Some interesting points that I came across while I was reading this book included but were not limited to:
Was there a specific purpose as to why Road had chosen this specific art design? Is there an intention as to why the grotesque and gory images served as to how the reader was to perceive the world in Road's eyes?

What was the reason to oversexualizing inanimate objects? Was it to give older readers the illusion that they are at that adolescence stage and go through that stage again to emerge the reader into the sexual fantasies Road was having?

How long after these experiences happened did it take Road to fully accept herself and come out to everyone she cared about? Was Road's family accepting to her choice in who to love or did some of them reject her as their family?

Is Green Day music still a big influence in your life as it was when you were going through finding your identity and was it as big of a key to identifying yourself as it seemed in the book? Or were there things that influenced you just as much as Green Day did when you were younger the older you got?

Something else that I found to be interesting and found myself questioning a lot towards the end of the book was if Road ever persude Alex as she got older or was it just an infatuation that simmered down as time went by.
